Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has released its UHF active RFID tags (GAO137004). The high-performance and power-efficient active RFID tag is designed for collecting highly accurate, real-time data for identification, tracking and localization. The tag with 8000bytes expandable memory can be used as an electronic packing slip or as an electronic shop traveler.
GAO’s UHF active RFID tag conveys data at distance of up to 100 feet from a handheld device or up to 300 feet from a fixed interrogator. The UHF operating frequency allows low-power, long communication and high data transmission rates with minimal interference due to local conditions. Its outstanding anti-collision multi-tag-handling algorithm provides clear communication to a large number of tags tracking of assets or people. In addition, it is equipped with an optional LED and an optional sensor, which enable temperature monitoring.
